6.1 FAQ

Last updated: October 30, 2025

Safety first: Only trust contract addresses, RPC endpoints, and links published in the Official Channels page and visible on GRXscan. Beware of look-alike domains and DM “support.”

General

What is the GRX Chain? GRX Chain is GroveX’s high-performance, EVM-compatible blockchain designed for next-gen Web3 apps and DeFi. It emphasises efficiency, scalability, and ultra-low transaction fees and is strongly supported by the GroveX exchange. See also: Developer Resources & Network Details (network settings, contracts).

Who owns/operates GRX Chain? GRX Chain is developed and operated by GRXCHAIN Inc. (BVI), an independent legal entity. The ecosystem benefits from support and strategic alignment with GroveX Pty Ltd (AU).

What problem does GRX Chain solve? It addresses high gas costs, network congestion, and limited scalability by offering a fast, cost-efficient, developer-friendly EVM environment.

How do I securely deposit AUD via bank transfer to GroveX? Start an AUD deposit from your logged-in GroveX account to receive banking details and a unique reference. Use that exact reference in your transfer so funds are credited correctly. See also: GroveX Help → Deposits (within GroveX).

When will the GRX Chain be fully operational? Core mainnet capabilities are available and expanding. The whitepaper and a release schedule are slated for publication this quarter. Major upgrades will be announced on the Status/Changelog pages. See also: Status and Changelog links in the footer of this page.

Technical & Performance

Is GRX Chain EVM-compatible? Yes, it has full EVM compatibility, so most Ethereum tooling and contracts work with minimal changes. See also: Integration & Interoperability (tooling, RPC, examples).

What consensus does GRX Chain use? Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) with an active validator set and on-chain governance.

What about throughput and fees? The network targets high throughput with ultra-low fees. Actual performance depends on network conditions and published parameters. See also: Integration & Interoperability → Chain Parameters.

What is GRXscan.io? GRXscan is the official block explorer for GRX Chain with real-time data and developer APIs. See also: Integration & Interoperability → Explorer & APIs.

GRX / WGRX & Tokenomics

Is GRX the same as WGRX? No. GRX is the native coin used for gas, staking, and governance. WGRX is the ERC-20 wrapper (1:1 with GRX) for trading and integrations. Official WGRX (mainnet): 0x45C7287F897B3A79Cd3f6e4F14B4CE568f023bD5Decimals: 18

What is the GRX token used for? Gas fees, network staking (delegators/validators), and on-chain governance. GroveX integrations may accept WGRX for payments (e.g., listings/marketing) per GroveX policies. See also: Tokenomics.

How can I acquire GRX/WGRX?

  • GroveX: Trade GRX/USDT or WGRX/USDT (availability per listing schedule).

  • GRXswap: Swap supported assets on grxswap.io.

  • Bridging: For now, only via grovex.io (see Bridging below).

What are the staking requirements?

  • Delegators: minimum 32 GRX

  • Validators: minimum 100 GRX; up to 21 active validators (governance/performance rules apply) See also: Tokenomics (slashing, rewards, thresholds).

How does the GRX burn mechanism work? From defined fee/revenue allocations, 60% is burned until 1,000,000 GRX is removed from circulation; after that, the allocation is redirected to rewards per the Tokenomics policy. See also: Tokenomics → Deflationary Mechanism & Reward Transition.

What was the initial GRX reference price? US$1.00 at launch (reference only). Market prices are volatile and may differ.

Ecosystem & Development

What is GRXswap? grxswap.io is the native DEX and liquidity hub for GRX Chain assets.

What support is available for developers? Docs, RPC/Explorer APIs, samples, and integration guides. Ecosystem initiatives (grants, liquidity support, listings, co-marketing) may be available subject to program terms. Contact [email protected]. See also: Integration & Interoperability and Developer Resources & Network Details.

How do I launch a project on GRX Chain? Use EVM tooling (Remix/Hardhat/Truffle), connect to the GRX RPC, deploy, then integrate front-ends and liquidity on GRXswap. See also: Integration & Interoperability (RPCs, Chain IDs, contracts).

Wallet Compatibility & Network

Which wallets are supported? MetaMask and OKX Wallet work out of the box. Ledger and Trezor connect via supported wallet apps or WalletConnect (keep firmware/apps updated).

What are the GRX Chain mainnet details?

  • Network Name: GRX Chain

  • RPC URL: https://rpc.grxchain.io

  • Chain ID: 1110

  • Symbol: GRX

  • Block Explorer: https://grxscan.io

  • WGRX Contract: 0x45C7287F897B3A79Cd3f6e4F14B4CE568f023bD5 (18 decimals) See also: Developer Resources & Network Details for testnet and core contracts.

Bridging

How do I bridge assets to/from GRX Chain? For now, only via GroveX at https://grovex.io. We do not endorse other bridges yet. Always verify the domain and follow in-app instructions. See also: Integration & Interoperability → Bridging.

Accessibility & Language

We aim for accessible docs (readable typography, high-contrast code blocks, keyboard navigation). Translations may be added over time; the governing language is English.

Status & Changelog

  • Status: https://status.grxchain.io (incidents, maintenance, upgrades)

  • Changelog: see the Docs Changelog page for API/RPC/Explorer updates and deprecations. Where possible, we provide 14 days’ notice for breaking changes.
